About
i’m Dipankar. i’ve loved computers, tech, physics and maths since i was a kid, and i never grew out of it.
i like to play with things. i run everything on beta. the moment something new ships i want to be first to poke at it and see how it bends. when i was 13 i’d stay up till 3am to watch Google I/O, just to see what was coming next.
i have deep respect for the scientists, builders, engineers and innovators who changed the world we live in. i think a society moving toward science and maths beats one fighting over land in a zero-sum game. tech, engineering and science still have so much left to give, and i want to give back as much as i can. what tech can do for billions of people has always made it a lot more than a job to me.
what i work on
i’m a Founding Engineer at Share. Share is Instagram for onchain assets, and as Polymarket’s official partner, the face of Polymarket onchain on mobile. i own the discovery layer of that integration: the read path, search, explore, leaderboards, positions and notifications behind every sports-market screen in the app. it runs across a Go gateway and a Python service.
the part i love most is going deep on performance. when i start chasing a bottleneck it feels like a rush and a maths problem at the same time. i don’t trust a story about why something is slow. i want to see it, measure it, fix it, then prove the fix. i want the system as strong and as correct as it can be. TigerBeetle is the bar i look up to here: get correctness first, earn the speed, prove all of it.
i wrote up the details if you want them: my work at Share and my journey at 0xPPL.
work experience
Share, Founding Engineer
Aug 2025 - Present
i own the discovery layer of Share’s Polymarket integration across a Go gateway and a Python service: how people find, browse, search and rank markets in the app. drove the biggest perf wins: prediction-tags from >10s to ~11ms (~100x) with stale-while-revalidate caching and single-flight refresh, Explore from ~14s to sub-second by killing N+1 queries, the leaderboard ~4x with batched Redis and Postgres reads. hardened production: a 7ms idempotency race closed with an atomic SETNX, and 87% of silently-dropped closed positions recovered (48 → 182). led the Spreads/Totals/Props launch (~40 tickets in 3 weeks, 10+ sports, zero rollbacks) and the FIFA World Cup 2026 backend, and rewrote the event and market core in Go behind a shadow-compare rollout the team is now extending.
Slice, Backend Engineer

how i work
“put me on the hardest team working the hardest problems. i’ll struggle for a few weeks, then i’ll thrive.”
i work with advanced algorithms and data structures most days. i like environments that push what’s technically possible, and problems that look impossible at first.
what i’m looking for
higher and higher standard teams. that’s the whole thing for me. there’s no better peak than doing impossible things, with the best minds in the world, on the hardest problems.
